This has to be one of my favorite recipes for lunch at my office. It heats up really fast in the microwave and in seconds I have the perfect meal. I have to say that I do not like to buy lunch for I tend to go to the fattier foods and that causes a problem for me. So I would rather make my meal myself.



Apple cider vinegar Apple cider vinegar has various healthful properties, including antimicrobial and antioxidant effects. What's more, evidence suggests it may offer health benefits, such as aiding weight loss, reducing cholesterol, lowering blood sugar levels. Bell peppers Bell peppers are rich in many vitamins and antioxidants, especially vitamin C and various carotenoids. Serving - one cup, approximately 180 calories. Ingredients 1/2 pkg. - Whole grain or gluten-free pasta 3/4 cup - Cherry tomatoes, split 1/2 cup - Red bell pepper, cubed 1/2 cup - Black olives, pitted and sliced 1 med. - Cucumber, peeled 3/4 cup - Feta cheese, cubed Sauce 1 tbsp. - Apple cider vinegar 1 tbsp. - Olive oil 1/2 med. - Juice of a lemon or lime 1 tsp. - Garlic powder 1 tsp. - Oregano Salt and pepper to taste

I have to say that this dish is one of the easiest pasta recipes, I know. It is hard to believe that a simple and fast dish can be this good. I make it very often when I get that pasta craving. 
 


Ingredients 

1/2 pkg.             -  Spaghetti, al dente, 
1/4 cup              -  Olive oil 
6 to 8 cloves     -  Garlic minced or finely sliced

Salt and pepper to taste

Toppings - Hot red pepper flakes, chopped parsley

Tips
-  The salt in the pasta water should be enough to give flavor to your dish, do not add extra.
-  Pasta should be Al Denta, remove one minute before pasta being done.
-  Overcooking the oil will turn it into Saturated fats, after two minutes of cooking the garlic, turn off the heat.

Well, here is another soup diet. Pretty soon I will be called the "Diet Soup King", but I have to try to keep everyone happy. 

This diet so is really awesome, not only is it a healthy diet soup but packed with nutrition and flavor.  This recipe really calls for coconut milk but it is on the fatty side. So I use potatoes to produce the creamy texture and taste, in this way I have kept it "low- fat".

Turmeric

Studies indicate that turmeric can promote weight loss, reduce fat tissue growth, curb weight regain, and enhance your sensitivity to the hormone insulin.


Ingredients

2 lbs.           -  Chicken breasts, skinless and cubes 

2 Ibs            -  Potatoes, peeled and cubed (divided)

1 sm.           -  Onion, finely chopped 

2 each         -  Celery stalks, sliced 

1 cup           -   Chicory or cabbage, spinach, kale 

1/3 cup       -   Pasley, chopped 

3 cloves      -  Garlic, minced

2 tbsp.        -  Ginger, grated 

2 tbsp.        -   Turmeric 

2 tbsp.        -   Lemon juice 

1 cube        -   Chicken stock (low-sodium) or veggie 

1 leaf           -  Bay leaf


Salt and pepper to taste

When it comes to burgers, that is one of my weaknesses. I just love them, but I know that they are fattening, I try really hard to stay away from them. But, not with this recipe, because of the lean meat and the graham bread with the low-fat yogurt, I know I can enjoy this meal without the guilt.

I had a problem looking for the right size buns because I wanted them to be graham bread. So I got up early and made my own with my bread maker. I used part white plain flour and the other half I used whole wheat. I like this combination because I do not like my bread to be too much like eating straw.

I hope you try this recipe and enjoy the burger without guilt. Please let me know how yours turned out and did you do anything else to it. 

Ingredients 

Makes 3 sliders 

1/2 lb.         -   Lean grounded beef or veal

1/3 tsp.       -  Garlic powder 
1/4 tsp.       -  White pepper or black

Salt to taste 


Sauce 
1/2 cup       -  Greek yogurt or other

Wasabi Tuna Sushi Recipe Do you like Sushi, do you like tuna. This is my Western version of Tuna Sushi. It is easy and convenient because it uses can tuna. Go ahead and see how easy and good it is. Now, this is my Wife's favorite sushi recipe because she will not eat raw fish, so I really designed this for her. When it comes to making sushi at home, almost everyone thinks that it is an impossible task. When it is one of the easiest things to make that can give you so much satisfaction and everyone will praise you for it. Try it here now and see just how easy it is to make, you really can not go wrong. I really hope you really enjoy this recipe. Ingredients Makes 4 rolls; 1 - Can of chunky Tuna (albacore or same) in oil or in water. 1 Pkg. of Nori 1 Cup - Pre-ready Sushi rice 1 to 2 Tbsp. - Mayo, low-fat 1 to 2 squirts - Lemon juice, or halve of an sm. lemon 1 to Tsp. - Wasabi Salt to taste 1/2 Sweet red pepper, sliced thin Few stems of green onions Options - Smoked salmon, parsley leaves, avocado
Homemade Sushi rice 1 Cup - Sushi rice 1/4 Cup - White vinegar 1/2 Tsp. - Sugar 1/2 Tsp. - Salt 1) Make the sushi rice as per instructions on the package. 2) Mix the vinegar, sugar, and salt together. 3) Add the rice after it is done to a large bowl or pan. 4) Slowly add a bit at a time of the mixture to the rice while folding (not stirring) the rice over until the rice has absolved everything. 5) Spread the rice all around and let dry, fanning it will help it go faster.

I added potatoes to it so it can hold back those hunger pains, after all, I do not want you to go hungry right after. Also this soup with help fight off those viruses and other nasty things that can affect you. When you eat this soup, you will find that it gives you a warming feeling in your body, but remember to adjust the ginger for too much can upset your system. So, let me know how yours turned out. Tuna Noodle Casserole I really like this dish because it is so easy to make and serve. The portions heat up really fast when you need to save time. I like to take this to work and just zap it in the micro for one outstanding lunch. Now, the type of tune here that I am using is a little on the dark side for it comes from Portugal and the fish is called a tuna fish “ Bonito”. I enjoy this type of fish because it has a bit more on the stronger taste of fish, but really any type of tuna can be used. Ingredients
1 pkj. - Dry egg noodle past or any other type 3 tbsp. - Butter, unsalted 1/2 cup - Onion, finely chopped 1/2 tsp. - Salt, kosher 3 tbsp. - All-purpose flour 3 cups - Cold milk 3/4 cups - Cheddar cheese, shredded 2 cans - Tuna, shredded or chucky 3/4 cup - Peas, rinsed drained 1/3 tsp. - White grounded pepper 1/2 cup - Plain bread crumbs 1/2 cup - Parmigiano cheese, grated Options- Cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce Toppings - Chopped parsley, chopped chives, sliced black olives Note: Please remember to undercook the pasta for at least 2 minutes.

Best Baked Rice And Beans Well, here it is, my favorite dish that I just love to take to work for my lunch. Now, this is Spanish-style baked rice and beans. When the rice sucks up the salsa and with the beans, all that incredibly delicious combination makes this one outstanding recipe. Now I have to tell you that my wife was mad at me because I did not iron the kitchen towel, so forgive me if you noticed. I have to say that I am very multi-talented but ironing I have no idea how to do it. Well, maybe next time I will try it. So back to the dish, hope you enjoy it and please let me know if you did anything different to it. Ingredients 2 cups - Basmati rice or other long-grain rice 2 cans - Red kidney beans, rinsed and drained 1 tsp. - Kosher salt or to taste 1 tsp. - Grounded black pepper or to taste 2 tsp. - Cumin, powdered 1/2 tsp. - Chilli powder 1/4 cup - Olive oil 1 jar - Tomato salsa (16 ounces) 2 1/2 cups - Chicken broth 2 tbsp - Chopped parsley Notes - Cover the dish very tightly with aluminum foil and put an oven tray on top of the dish to add more pressure for the cooking process. Cooking time - 1 hour and 10 mins at 350 F. - When the cooking is done, check the tenderness of the rice and if need be, add some water and return the dish to the oven until the rice is tender.

I have used this soup before during my weight loss program that I started using this first Soup here "Magic Diet Soup - Lose Weight Fast - Low Gi." http://youtu.be/mZyR2Ew66w8 Although this soup is a med GI, because of the carrots I find it works just great on its own because the protein just sticks to your ribs and lasts longer in your system. Also, you can change the soup by just adding some meat to it and there you go the same diet soup, but with a different protein. I always remember how the orange, lemon aroma was coming from the kitchen, back home. Now, I really do not eat the chicken skin, but I did not remove it from the dish because I need it to give flavor to the sauce. When the sausage blends with the veggies and the broth, it makes this dish "one outstanding recipe". I like to take it to work and just heat it in a microwave and I know that it will keep me happy until dinner time. Now do not stop here, add any sausage you would like. How about farmers sausage or even chorizo. Whatever you add, it will always turn out good. Try this with your friends and family and let me know how yours turned out. Ingredients 1 lb. - Polish or other sausages 1 - 2 - Olive oil 1 tbsp. - Tomato paste 1 tbsp. - Butter, unsalted 3 each - Garlic cloves, sliced 1 stalk - Celery stalk 1 lb. - Potato, peeled and cubed 2 med. - Whole tomatoes, peeled and chopped 1 med. - Onion, diced 1 cup - Corn 1 med. - Carrot 3 cups - Cabbage, sliced 1 1/2 - Beef cube stock, or other 2 each - Bay leaves 1 tsp. - Basil, dried 1 tsp. - Oregano, dried Salt, pepper, and water as needed. It has the same diet concepts as the original but it is simpler. Now as for this soup, I would use it only for two days, not more. It will give you a fast weight-loss in a short time.

Orange Cake loaf cake, easy to make, fast, and too severe. The orangery juice with its pulp and peel makes this recipe special. The sweet bitterness gives it the perfect taste between sweet and tangy. I can eat this all day and let me tell you that it did not last, in fact, it disappeared in less than two minutes at my friend's party. Just shows you that when you make this cake, please make two....:)



Ingredients

1 lg. - Orange with the peel, washed and chopped 3 med. - Eggs, slightly beaten 1/ 3/4 cups - All-purpose flour, sifted 2 1/2 tsp. - Baking powder 1/3 cup - unsalted butter, softened 1/3 cup - Plain yogurt 1 tsp. - Vanilla extract 1/4 cup - Milk (as needed)
Glaze - juice of one large orange 1/3 cup - sugar

A few months ago, I was invited to my Friend's Wedding and it was my first experience at a Greek Wedding. Now talk about food, it never stopped and it kept coming, one dish after another. How I wish I had more room to hold more. Well, I did not know that I was going to burn off all that food when the music started, wow, talk about "These People Can Dance", loved every minute of it.

The only problem you will have is that it will go very fast, so keep that oven hot and ready for the second and third batch.

I decided to create an all-new 7-day recipe for the soup, but I also added a little for things to fill you up and keep the hunger pains away. You start a simple Breakfast in the morning and then start your plan on day #1. As you proceed to the next days, it will allow you to add some protein and carbs to help you have enough energy to make it through the program and complete the full seven days.


Ingredients for the soup 1 cup - Broccoli Florets 1 cup - Zucchini, chopped 2 cups - Cabbage, sliced 1/2 cup - Carrots, sliced 1/2 cup - Green beans, sliced 1 med. - Red pepper, chopped 1 med. - White onion, chopped 1 can - Or 2 whole tomatoes, skinned, and chopped 2 to 3 - Garlic minced 2 to 3 - Bay leaves 1 tsp. - Thyme, dried 1 tsp. - Basil, dried 2 tbsp. - Tomato paste 1/4 cup - Parsley, chopped, as needed 1 cube - Low-sodium veggie stock Salt (as little as possible) and pepper to taste Options 1/2 tsp. - Hot chili pepper 1/2 tsp. - Hot pepper flakes Types of rice 1 cup - Brown rice, wild rice Ingredients for the Beef 2 lbs. - Lean ground meat or steak, sliced or chopped. 1 tsp. - Onion powder 1 tsp. - Garlic powder Salt (as little as possible) and pepper to taste Ingredients for the turkey or chicken 2 lbs. - Turkey or chicken breast Salt (as little as possible) and pepper to taste
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Directions Breakfast - Wholesome cereals with low-fat milk, whole wheat/ 100% rye bread, Coffee, tea, or eat the soup. Day #1. Eat as much of any fruit you want EXCEPT BANANAS and AVOCATOES. Eat only soup (as much as you want) and fruit today but eat all you want. ------------------------------------------. Day #2. All Veggies. Fill up on fresh vegetables (salads etc). Eat all the soup you want, but add one scoop (1/3 cup) of the rice to the soup. But NO FRUIT TODAY. ------------------------------------------- Day #3. Eat all the soup, fruit, and veggies you want, but NO RICE/POTATOES. If you haven't cheated you will have lost. 5-7 lbs by tomorrow morning. ------------------------------------------- Day #4. Bananas and skim milk. Eat at least 2 bananas and all the milk you want today. Eat all the soup you want, but add one scoop (1/3 cup) of the BEEF to the soup. ------------------------------------------- Day #5. Veggies and fruit Eat all the soup, fruit, and veggies you want, but NO RICE/POTATOES and BANANAS/ AVOCADOES. ------------------------------------------- Day #6. Turkey/ Chicken and Vegetables. Add all the Turkey/ Chicken you want to the soup. With GREEN leafy vegetables you want. But NO POTATOES. Don't forget to have soup. Day #7. Add the rice to the soup, but add one scoop (1/3 cup). Have unsweetened fruit juice, and veggies today. Have soup as often as you can, but RICE serving only ONCE.

This Nacho recipe is one of my winners and the most wanted foods that my Friends want when they come to my home to watch a film or some game on Tv. Now the old "popcorn" thing will not do it anymore. Try this basic classic recipe and let me know how yours turned out.
Ingredients 1 pkg. - Unsalted or salted nachos, tortilla, and corn chips 2 lbs. - Lean or medium ground beef 1 med. - Onion, chopped 2 to 3 tbsp. - Taco sauce mix, (see below) 1/4 cup - Ketchup or 1 tbsp. tomato paste. 3/4 cup - Canned black beans rinsed and drained Salt and pepper to taste. As needed Cheddar cheese, sliced or shredded Tomatoes, drained and chopped Green onions, chopped Black olives, sliced Hot red peppers Sour cream Parsley chopped Taco sauce homemade 1 to 2 tsp. - Hot chili powder 1 to 2 tsp. - Cumin powder 1 to 2 tsp. - Garlic powder 1/2 to 1 tsp. - Paprika powder 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. - Oregano
