Mediterranean House Style Steak Recipe

 





Mediterranean House Style Steak Well, here is my favorite steak that my mother use to make me. Now I have to tell you that this is really a Portuguese recipe, but I called it a Mediterranean-style steak because, for youtube, it would be more diversified for this recipe. Trust me when the wine, garlic, and cream along with the butter that hits the steak, it will surely be a crowd or family pleasure. Do not take my word for it, just see for yourself. Let me know how yours turned out. Ingredients 2 - Sirlion steaks ( 1/2 or 1 inch thick) 4 cloves - Garlic, sliced thick 3-4 tbsp. - Olive oil 2 tbsp. - Butter, unsalted 1/2 cup - Red wine or white wine, beer 1 tbsp. - Hot pepper sauce, Piri Piri 1 tbsp. - HP sauce or other 1 tsp. - Cumin, powdered Salt and pepper to taste Topper - Fried egg Sides - 4 small peeled potatoes, and slices into 1/4 inch slices. Slightly oiled and baked in love for about 30 mins. at around 350 degrees.

Tuna Noodle Casserole I really like this dish because it is so easy to make and serve. The portions heat up really fast when you need to save time. I like to take this to work and just zap it in the micro for one outstanding lunch. Now, the type of tune here that I am using is a little on the dark side for it comes from Portugal and the fish is called a tuna fish “ Bonito”. I enjoy this type of fish because it has a bit more on the stronger taste of fish, but really any type of tuna can be used. Ingredients
1 pkj. - Dry egg noodle past or any other type 3 tbsp. - Butter, unsalted 1/2 cup - Onion, finely chopped 1/2 tsp. - Salt, kosher 3 tbsp. - All-purpose flour 3 cups - Cold milk 3/4 cups - Cheddar cheese, shredded 2 cans - Tuna, shredded or chucky 3/4 cup - Peas, rinsed drained 1/3 tsp. - White grounded pepper 1/2 cup - Plain bread crumbs 1/2 cup - Parmigiano cheese, grated Options- Cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce Toppings - Chopped parsley, chopped chives, sliced black olives Note: Please remember to undercook the pasta for at least 2 minutes.

Best Baked Rice And Beans Well, here it is, my favorite dish that I just love to take to work for my lunch. Now, this is Spanish-style baked rice and beans. When the rice sucks up the salsa and with the beans, all that incredibly delicious combination makes this one outstanding recipe. Now I have to tell you that my wife was mad at me because I did not iron the kitchen towel, so forgive me if you noticed. I have to say that I am very multi-talented but ironing I have no idea how to do it. Well, maybe next time I will try it. So back to the dish, hope you enjoy it and please let me know if you did anything different to it. Ingredients 2 cups - Basmati rice or other long-grain rice 2 cans - Red kidney beans, rinsed and drained 1 tsp. - Kosher salt or to taste 1 tsp. - Grounded black pepper or to taste 2 tsp. - Cumin, powdered 1/2 tsp. - Chilli powder 1/4 cup - Olive oil 1 jar - Tomato salsa (16 ounces) 2 1/2 cups - Chicken broth 2 tbsp - Chopped parsley Notes - Cover the dish very tightly with aluminum foil and put an oven tray on top of the dish to add more pressure for the cooking process. Cooking time - 1 hour and 10 mins at 350 F. - When the cooking is done, check the tenderness of the rice and if need be, add some water and return the dish to the oven until the rice is tender.

Now after a lot of e-mail's asking me to get another Magic Diet Soup recipe, so this time I added a little more umff !! with some meat, so here's the soup for you to lose weight. I have used this soup before during my weight loss program that I started using this first Soup here "Magic Diet Soup - Lose Weight Fast - Low Gi." http://youtu.be/mZyR2Ew66w8 Although this soup is a med GI, because of the carrots I find it works just great on its own because the protein just sticks to your ribs and lasts longer in your system. I hope it works for you as it worked for me, and yes I do make this soup very often, say about twice a month just to keep my diet under control. Also, you can change the soup by just adding some meat to it and there you go the same diet soup, but with a different protein. Ingredients 1 1/2 Lbs. - Chicken breasts, chopped 1 Med. - Carrot, chopped 1 Med. - Parsnip, chopped 1 Med. - Leek, chopped 1 Med. - Onion, red, diced 2 to 3 Cloves - Garlic, chopped 1/4 Cup - Parsley, fresh 1/4 Cup - Dill, fresh 1 tbsp. - Olive oil 1 to 2 Cubes - Chicken stock (low-sodium) 1/2 Cup - Quinoa or brown rice, Kasha or other Water, as needed Salt and pepper to taste Options; 1/4 Cup - Green onions 1 Med. - Celery root

Mediterranean Style Orange Chicken Well, here it is again, a great party favourite. This dish came from a Portuguese recipe that was given to me by my mother. I always remember how the orange, lemon aroma was coming from the kitchen, back home. Now, I really do not eat the chicken skin, but I did not remove it from the dish because I need it to give flavor to the sauce. You need to try this recipe, for you will never understand how good it is until you try it. Let me know in the comments how yours turned out. Ingredients 4 med. - Chicken legs, skin on 1 med. - Red onion, chopped 3 cloves - Garlic, crushed 1 lg. - Zest of an orange 1 lg. - Juice of an orange 1 med. - Juice of a lemon 1 med. - Orange, sliced 1 tsp.. - Thyme, dried 3 sprig. - Rosemary, fresh 3 tbsp. - Cooking oil or olive oil Salt and pepper to taste Toppings - Parsley, chives Cooked chicken legs - internal temperature 165°F.

Sausage And Potato Soup Recipe Well here is one of my favorite soups that are easy to make and fills you up. When the sausage blends with the veggies and the broth, it makes this dish "one outstanding recipe". I like to take it to work and just heat it in a microwave and I know that it will keep me happy until dinner time. Now do not stop here, add any sausage you would like. How about farmers sausage or even chorizo. Whatever you add, it will always turn out good. Try this with your friends and family and let me know how yours turned out. Ingredients 1 lb. - Polish or other sausages 1 - 2 - Olive oil 1 tbsp. - Tomato paste 1 tbsp. - Butter, unsalted 3 each - Garlic cloves, sliced 1 stalk - Celery stalk 1 lb. - Potato, peeled and cubed 2 med. - Whole tomatoes, peeled and chopped 1 med. - Onion, diced 1 cup - Corn 1 med. - Carrot 3 cups - Cabbage, sliced 1 1/2 - Beef cube stock, or other 2 each - Bay leaves 1 tsp. - Basil, dried 1 tsp. - Oregano, dried Salt, pepper, and water as needed. Options - 1 tbsp. cornstarch dissolved in water. Toppings - Fresh dill, Parsley, chives

Quick Magic Diet Soup Recipe Well, with the great success of my first “Magic Diet Soup” (see link below) made a few years ago. I decided to create a quick version, so you could make it faster. It has the same diet concepts as the original but it is simpler. Now as for this soup, I would use it only for two days, not more. It will give you a fast weight-loss in a short time.

Yes, but I made this video to be added to my Classic basic cooking playlist where anyone that has started to cook or has to cook sometime in their life can look up a simple easy recipe to make. I find this technic the best for it turns out perfect every time, the egg's hardness can be controlled by the timing that cooks the egg to perfection. Portuguese-Style Chorizo And Chicken Pasta Ok, here it is, if I had to have only one dish to live on, this would be it. It is a complete meal and it just goes perfectly together with all the ingredients. With the cream and mozzarella, it blends in so perfectly with the chicken and the chorizo. we can say that it is a match made in heaven. The sausage just releases its flavor all around, making this did an outstanding party favorite. Try it and let me know how yours turned out. Ingredients 2 each - Chicken breasts, chopped 1 each - Chorizo sausage, sweet or hot 1 lb. - Macaroni pasta, or other 1 1/2 cups - Bell mushrooms or other 1 med. - Red pepper 2 - 3 cloves - Garlic, minced 1 cup - Light or heavy cream 1 1/2 cups - Mozzarella cheese, chopped 1/3 cup - Mozzarella for topping 1 tsp. - Basil, dried Salt and pepper to taste Toppings Parsley, fresh basil, Parmesan cheese, sliced olives Options Add 1/2 cup white wine

Portuguese Traditional Fish Soup

Well, here it is, my favorite soup that my mother use to make for me. I remember that I enjoyed it when it was cold outside, it really warmed me up. The only drawback I had is when I ate a bowl or two, I got very sleepy. What I like about this fish recipe, is that it does not taste fishy, but gives a nice all-around Mediterranean appeal. Now I usually add a lot more liquid to the bowl but for the picture, I used less in order to show you the filling.


Ingredients 2 lbs. - Cod, skinless, and cubed. Or other fish 1/2 lbs. - Pre-cooked shrimp, deveined with tails removed 2 lbs. - Potatoes, peeled and cubed 1 med. - Carrot, peeled and sliced 2 med. - Tomatoes, peeled 6 pints - Water 1 med. - Onion, diced 1 sm. - Hot chili pepper 4 each - Garlic cloves, sliced 2 to 3 tbsp. - Olive oil 1 tsp. - Dried veggie stock, low sodium 2-3 leaves - Coriander 6-8 each - Whole all-spice 1/4 cup - Green onions, chopped 1/4 cup - Parsley, roughly chopped Salt and pepper to taste
