Magic Diet Soup -  Lose Weight Fast - Low Gi.

Well it worked for me and I have lost the weight and kept it off. So don't be scared, just try and see how I did it by reading the below on "How I Lost The Weight:.

Diet Soup, a complete meal in it's self.  Lose the weight fast or just maintain it, it worked for me......
Start with having the  soup 3 to 4 times a day, with fruit and salad in between for 2 weeks. After that do this for once a week and on the rest of the days, follow  low GI Diet.... I hope it helps whoever needs it...

Diet Soup Recipe 

20 mins boil

1/2         -  Head of Cabbage
2  to 3   -  Veggie or Chicken stock.
4 to 5    -  Tomato's.
4  to 5   -  Small onions.
1            -  Leek
1            -  Small celery root.
2            -  Sweet red peppers.
6            -  Cloves garlic.


 30 mins Boil Total
 (Last 10 mins)

½ cup           -  Parsley (any)
3                   -  Bay leaves.
1 to 2  tsp.   -  Nutmeg.
1 to 2  tsp.   -  Cumin.
4 to 5  tsp.   -  Oregano.
1 to 2  tsp.   -  Black pepper.
4 to 6           -  Green onions.
3 to 4 tsp.    -  Tomato paste.

Salt to taste..............

My Story 


At one point a few years ago I realized that something had to be done with my weight, I was 235 lbs. (106.5 Kg). It even got that I had a problem tying up my own shoelaces for my stomach was enlarged.

Just like a lot of others, I tried many diet systems, bought a lot of books, joined a fitness Club, but continued to struggle with my weight. 

After I started to have breathing problems and finding that I was getting sick more often, I got a reality check. So I went to see my Doctor and was told  that I would not last longer if I continued with my present  lifestyle. 

I needed to change everything if I wanted a decent Life and a future.  



Well  I knew that I had to get something going soon, very soon. So I started to forget all things about all the diet systems  that I tried before and failed.

I grabbed my notebook, measuring tools, pots and pans and of course "Mr Google" and started to create a food system that was made custom for my body and  that could help me lose the weight and control it.

Magic Diet Soup was born  after about  a few tries with the soup.  I  finally got it just right.

I started to just eat the Soup for about a week and then "wow" !!, I lost weight, but I knew that most of it was only water at first, so I tried to stay cool about the results.  After the first week I lost about  8 pounds and was happy and I had to say that I did feel better because of all that fiber going through my system, it did give me a better feeling of well being.

Now that I did this for a week and finished "now what", where do I go from here. So it was back to the Kitchen to drum some other foods to keep up my diet plan. What I came up with was  my "In Between Soups"   that  I would eat usually for Lunch every day, but what about some protein and more of  a solid type food, for with just soup, I knew that I would not last long on this diet and I could make myself sick.

Well then I stated to change the way I ate and added meat protein in small portions into my Diet and concentrated  on having this for my Lunch and now switching the soups for the evening meal,  for in this way I found it worked better for me and my system. As for breakfast I had eggs but no more the 3 times a week with a light salad, also during the week I also had  high fiber cereals with skin milk, and  a lot of oatmeal.  

Now I know "what happens when I get hungry ?   "In between meals",   well  I ate more fruit and plenty of raw vegetables like carrots, tomatoes, celery, etc., I found this worked for me and the weight was coming off and this time it was not water but the fat leaving my body. 


I got to a point that the weight was coming off, but again I new that I needed some type of exercise in order to further remove the weight and get me in better shape. Now I'am really lazy about it and all things associated with exercising, I dreaded getting started. 

So I finally decide to start to run, why?, because I was lazy and this had to be the simplest  form of doing it.  Right?  Wrong !!   

When I started to run for the first time, I could not even do 100 yds, I was out of breath, had a burning pain in my lungs and my legs were giving up on me. So my first attempt  sent me into a slight depression, for how was I going to do this?  Now I knew that I had to try and if others can run hundreds of miles, then I should be able to run at least 1/2 of one. I would do it if I had to kill myself trying, for it was either getting it done or go back the way I was and that would surely kill me.

So I started , really slow at first by walking and jogging for about a month slowly adding more and more distance in yds. until I could do my first months program until I could do it with ease. Here is my first running program that I designed for my training for the first month of  running.

After the second month I noticed that the weight was just fling off and "boy !!' was I excited, I just wanted more. So in the following month I created my second  Running program #2, please  check it here for my second month.

Now today I run up to 2 to 3 times a week and enjoy it, I run like I feel like I have wings on my back. My weigh is completely under control and maintained where I want it. I have super energy, I sleep like a baby, almost never get tired, hardly get sick, my Girlfriend never complains (wink), and  "yes" I can tie my shoelaces with ease now. I just feel great and my Doctor say's that I'am a picture of heath inside and out.



One of my usual runs along the river, life is good for me now. Now this shows here that I did a 14.01 Kms. (8.6 miles) run, but remember, was this not the same person that could not even do 100 yds in the beginning.

I have to say the my Soups and my running programs help me get to where I'am today. In the above "After" Picture I finally went down to 160 lbs. (72.5 kg.), but as for today I lost a bit more where I maintain it now and  I'am very happy at  152 lbs. ( 68.9 kg.).  with a 30 inch  (76.2 cm.) coming from a 44 inch  (111.76 cm. ) waist.

It was not easy and I did go up and down, but  by going one step ahead forward and making this not a diet for your life, but a Lifestyle is the only way for you to get there. Remember theres is no Magic here but there is a very strong magic in oneself when you really want something and go out and do it.

2 Tbsp.-  Low-sodium veggie stock
1 Bunch -  Celery &  (some) tops
2 Cups - Fresh green beans
2 - Red or green bell peppers
2 Cups -  Carrots
1 Tsp. -  Chili powder
1 Tsp. - Ground cumin
2 Tsp. - Sweet paprika
1/2 to 1 Tsp. -  Cayenne pepper
2 Tsp. -  Prepared mustard

1/2 to 2  Tsp. -  Ground black pepper

Directions 

Soup Diet -

Day #1.
Eat as much of any fruit you want EXCEPT BANANAS and AVOCATOES.
Eat only soup and fruit today but eat all you want.

Day #2.
All Veggies.
Fill up on fresh vegetables (salads etc).
Eat all the soup you want and have a large baked potato with butter at dinner time.
But NO FRUIT TODAY.

Day #3.
Eat all the soup, fruit and veggies you want, but NO POTATOES.
If you haven't cheated you will have lost.
5-7 lbs by tomorrow morning.

Day #4.
Bananas and skim milk.
Eat at least 3 bananas and all the milk you want today.
Remember, you can have soup anytime you want.

Day #5.
Beef and Tomatoes.
You can have up to 20 ounces of beef or skinless chicken breast and 6 tomatoes in any style you like.
Remember to eat soup too.

Day #6.
Beef and Vegetables.
Eat all the beef and veggies you want today.
You can have 2-3 steaks (minimum fat) if you want, with green leafy vegetables.
But NO POTATOES.
Don't forget to have soup.

Brown rice (yes BROWN), unsweetened fruit juice, and veggies today.
Eat all you want whenever you want and have soup as often as you can.

Remember, the more you EAT THE SOUP, the better it will work on losing the weight.

Start with fresh vegetables, homegrown or farmers local crops are the best. I know it depends on the season, but if you look for it, you will find them.  

As for your tomato sauce, homemade is the best but if you do not have any, then you can use  Fresh tomato juice (low-sodium). See my recipe here for  " Homemade Tomato Sauce ".



Cut all the veggies as small as possible, because in the way, your body will digest it better and it will have a better effect on losing your weight. 

The pot size depends on you and how much of the soup are you going to make. As for me, it was 2 1/2 pots of this size pot.  I just put the whole pot into the fridge and that keeps it well,  as I use it up.



Do not forget to add ALL the spices I show in the video because this is where that fat burning comes from. If you are sensitive to spicy foods, then you can cut down on it, but it will not work as good.

The spices increase your metabolism and that burns fat, and that is what you want from this soup.




On the boiling point of the soup, please set the time to 30 minutes, but if you are sensitive to fiber, then set it to 40 minutes or more. 

For some people,  the fiber from veggies will give them stomach problems.






Remember that this is a DIET soup to lose weight, so please DO NOT add any salt to it. There is some salt in the low-sodium stock and some the tomato sauce, which is more than enough for this size of soup and it should not give any bad effect on this soup.







Now in addition to my spices, you can add more, like herbs or even other types of spice, but only in addition to the ones I show you on the video.

It is important to NOT make any changes to this soup for it to work properly. Add more but only after you followed the recipe.

Here you go, a soup that will curve your diet hunger. Soup is usually one of the best ways to go in regards to weight loss and diet plans but the problem is when the hunger pains start.

Well in this soup, we add crushed rolled oats and we know that this is a stick to your ribs foods that will hold you longer when you start to get hungry. 

This two-day diet is easy and the soup will keep you full. Start with a reasonable breakfast that can include coffee or tea for it will stimulate your system and help you lose weight. Then eat a bowl of this soup for lunch and dinner. Now if you get the urge to eat more then have another bowl.

1 to 3 tbsp    -  Chopped hot chili peppers

Let's start right with fresh minced ginger and garlic and of course hot chili peppers. It is important not to overcook the ginger and the garlic for it will give off a bitter taste and lose its nutritional value. So after a couple of minutes of frying add about half of the water to stop it from overheating.  




To make your life easy add a can of your favorite mixed veggie but make sure that you drained them well. You can also add some extra vegetables that you like and make it your way. 




Please make sure that you keep control over the heat and that the pot is uncovered because of the rolled oats it will become milky and it could overflow and make a high mess. Once it starts to boil, bring down the heat and let it simmer. 




There you have it a great diet soup that will fill you up and keep your hunger under control. Remember to make enough to last you two days with a serving of 4 to 6 each. With this recipe you can expect to get around 3 to 4 serving.

Now after a lot of e-mail's asking me to get another Magic Diet Soup recipe, so this time I added a little more umff !! with some meat, so here's the soup for you to lose weight. I have used this soup before during my weight loss program that I started using this first Soup here "Magic Diet Soup - Lose Weight Fast - Low Gi." http://youtu.be/mZyR2Ew66w8 Although this soup is a med GI, because of the carrots I find it works just great on its own because the protein just sticks to your ribs and lasts longer in your system. I hope it works for you as it worked for me, and yes I do make this soup very often, say about twice a month just to keep my diet under control. Also, you can change the soup by just adding some meat to it and there you go the same diet soup, but with a different protein. Ingredients 1 1/2 Lbs. - Chicken breasts, chopped 1 Med. - Carrot, chopped 1 Med. - Parsnip, chopped 1 Med. - Leek, chopped 1 Med. - Onion, red, diced 2 to 3 Cloves - Garlic, chopped 1/4 Cup - Parsley, fresh 1/4 Cup - Dill, fresh 1 tbsp. - Olive oil 1 to 2 Cubes - Chicken stock (low-sodium) 1/2 Cup - Quinoa or brown rice, Kasha or other Water, as needed Salt and pepper to taste Options; 1/4 Cup - Green onions 1 Med. - Celery root

What could be better  than something to help your  immunity system  when you need it most during a diet or weight loss plan.  Every extra bit helps you to fight off viruses  or any other nasty bugs looking to get you and bring you down. By eating this soup often you will find that it will give you a boost to your  body that you can actually feel as it goes through your system.  

I added  some chili because this spice helps to activate  and elevates  your  metabolism to increase blood flow  and to burn off those extra calories.  As you eat this soup you will start to feel a warmth going through your body  and a sense  of wellbeing. Also  you  should feel a slight clearing of your nasal passages as  it starts to clean  and  clear your  system.  Also I find that I will get a small headache that only lasts for about 5 minutes after eating the soup, but nothing to fear because I know that I’ am going through a detoxifying stage when I have this soup. 

Now one thing that I need to “warn” everyone  is you should always see  a Medical Doctor before you decide to go on any diet or exercise  program.  Also this soup is made only by natural ingredients that you will find in any home and is safe to make, but you should always take anything in moderation and if you feel anything that is not normal, then you should get your question answered by a MD. Never take anything for granted, from any recipe or anything else you could be taking for weight loss or a diet.

Recipe; 

6 to 8 Cloves -  Minced  garlic
3 Slices - Rye bread
1 Sm. - Onion
1 - Egg

1 to 1/2  Tbsp. -  Veggie stock (low- sodium) or other.
1/2 Tsp. - Sweet paprika
1/3 to 1/2 Tsp. - Chilli
3 Tbsp. - Olive oil  ( 1 Tbsp. reserved)

1/4 to 1/2 Cup - Milk

Salt and pepper to taste.

Options; 
1/2 Cup - Red sweet peppers
2 Stocks - Green onions
1 Med. - Carrot
1 Med. - Leek

Go ahead and add the amount of garlic you want. Here I used about  half a bulb, thats about  6 to 8 cloves it just right for me. 

Try it with different types of garlic and change the olive oil to give you that variety in your soup.








Make sure that you have the heat settings on a med.-low to or on low for you do not want the garlic to burn, but to just blend into the oil to give it a full rich flavour. Try to not over cook the oil nor the garlic, for it will give you a bitter taste in the soup if you do.






For me, I really like "rye" bread instead of whole wheat because of the texture and the taste. Also, did you know that the rye bread is just as good for you as the whole grain ones. Of course you can use plain white bread if you want, and it will turn out just as good but without the benefits of the other breads.





I have a rule that all herbs are good for you and I try to use as much as I can in my recipes, with as much varieties as I can without stopping. So go ahead and add as much as you want and make it your way.

It is the follow-up diet program to the original one. Just complete the first program " # 1 - Lose 10 to 17 Lbs. Guaranteed - Magic 7 - Day Weight-loss Plan " rest a day or two making sure that you do not overdo it on your food intake. And, just follow-up with diet plan number two until completion.
In this 2 nd. Plan you should start to lose water again, but now it will be mostly fat and that means weight-loss. After that please sick to low-fat, low-calorie meals. Of course, you can have a ”cheat meal” once in and while to curb your urges. With this 7-Day Diet Soup and if you did everything correctly and you did not cheat, then you can expect to lose around 10 to 17 lbs. Yes, that is correct, but you must follow the Plan. Then you should go back to your normal eating plan by now taking care of what you eat. If you have cravings for your preferred high-fat foods then go ahead and have a "cheat day" but eat all you want but only on one sitting per week, but only after this program. Your cheat day should keep your cravings under control.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ingredients For Soup 1 can - Whole tomatoes 4 Water - Up to the veggie line 1 to 2 - Veggie bouillon cubes ( low-sodium ) 1/3 head - Cabbage 1/4 Stalks - Celery 1 lg. - Bell pepper 1 med. - Onion 4 cloves - Garlic 2 tbsp. - Tomato paste 1/2 to 1 tsp. - Cayenne pepper 1/2 tsp. - Cumin 2 each - Bay leaves 1/4 cup - Parsley

Ground pepper to taste. Options Green onions Hot pepper flakes

7 Day Diet Program Breakfast - Wholesome cereals with low-fat milk, whole wheat/ 100% rye bread, Coffee, tea, or eat the soup. Day #1. Eat as much of any fruit you want EXCEPT BANANAS and AVOCATOES. Eat only soup and fruit today but eat all you want. -------------------------------------- Day #2. All Veggies. Fill up on fresh vegetables (salads etc). Eat all the soup you want and have a large baked potato with butter at dinner time. But NO FRUIT TODAY. --------------------------------------- Day #3. Eat all the soup, fruit, and veggies you want, but NO POTATOES. If you haven't cheated you will have lost. 5-7 lbs by tomorrow morning.

--------------------------------------- Day #4. Bananas and skim milk. Eat at least 3 bananas and all the milk you want today. Remember, you can have soup anytime you want. --------------------------------------- Day #5. Beef and Tomatoes. You can have up to 20 ounces of beef, skinless chicken breast, lean beef, filleted fish, but NO PORK and no tuna in oil. Have 6 tomatoes in any style you like. Remember to eat soup too.

--------------------------------------- Day #6. Beef and Vegetables. Eat all the lean beef/veal and veggies you want today but AVOCATOES. You can have 2-3 steaks (low- fat) if you want, with green leafy vegetables. But NO POTATOES. Don't forget to have soup. --------------------------------------- Day #7. Brown rice (wild) but No white, unsweetened fruit juice, and veggies today but AVOCADOES.. What can go better than a nice cooling cold soup on a hot blistering day? Now you can not go wrong with this soup, it's smooth, appetizing, healthy, and great tasting. I like to make this soup in summer when I have an outside BBQ, it just a big hit with everyone. 

It's really easy to make and all in one pot. This recipe has just the right ingredients, that blend perfectly together, Try it, you can not go wrong.

Recipe;

2 Cups - Buttermilk (low-fat)
1 1/2 Cups - Kefir
1 Cup - Pre-cooked red beets
4 Cloves - Garlic

Bunch - Fresh beet leaves and stems
1/2 Med. - Cucumber
1/2 Bunch - Radishes
1/4 Bunch - Chives
1/4 Bunch - Dill
1 Tbsp. - Apple cider vinegar
1/2 Tsp. - Suger


Salt and pepper to taste.

Quick Magic Diet Soup Recipe Well, with the great success of my first “Magic Diet Soup” (see link below) made a few years ago. I decided to create a quick version, so you could make it faster. It has the same diet concepts as the original but it is simpler. Now as for this soup, I would use it only for two days, not more. It will give you a fast weight-loss in a short time.
Now, since then I have created diet programs that are more complete and more for the long-range. They are complete step-by-step diet programs to help you get to your weight goals. Ingredients 3 cups - Cabbage, fine shredded and chopped 2 tbsp. - Olive oil 1 sm. - Onion, diced 1 med. - Carrot, sliced 1 can - Tomatoes, peeled and chopped 1 each - Bay leaf 1 tbsp. - Italian seasoning (homemade see below) 1 tbsp. - Tomato paste 1 cube - Veggie cube (low-sodium) 1 tbsp. - Parsley, fresh, chopped Pepper - As much as you want. Salt - Use as little as possible. Options - Chili pepper, hot chili pepper flakes, cumin Italian seasoning, homemade 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano. 1 teaspoon dried marjoram. 1 teaspoon dried thyme. 1/2 teaspoon dried basil. 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary.
