When it comes to Portuguese cuisine, this one is one of my favorites. It starts with juicy sausage, chorizo that has all the full flavor that just comes out in this dish. The pork, paprika, garlic, and fully smoked sausage create a perfect fit for any combination.
This has to be my best Buffalo Chicken Wings Recipe but this time instead of frying, I had them baked. I always watch what I eat, but sometimes at least once a week I can enjoy whatever I want. So this week it is my wings.
Ingredients
Baked wings
4 lbs. - Chicken wings, wingettes and drumettes. Tips (optional)
2 tbsp. - Baking powder
1 tsp. - Onion powder
1 tsp. - Sweet paprika
Sauce
4 tbsp. - Unsalted butter
1/4 cup - Piri Piri or Frank’s Original red hot sauce
1 tbsp. - Brown sugar
2 tbsp. - Ketchup
Salt - As needed
Blue Cheese Dip
1/4 cup - Blue cheese, soft part.
1/4 cup - Sour cream
2 tbsp. - Mayonnaise
2 tbsp. - Lemon juice
Splash - Milk
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking times - 350 degrees for around 35 to 40 mins, flip wings once.
Ok, I hear you. I was asked to come up with a poached egg recipe, that would be easy and simple. This is one of the best ways to add eggs to your diet that is oil-free.
I know that they show you how to twirl the water into a spin, add vinegar and add the egg into the vortex. I find that this method in the video is the best and the easiest way to get it right the first time. Well, anyway you make it you know that poached eggs are always the best when you are counting calories.

I love this salad and I cannot get enough of it. It's the perfect lunch to take to work, it's is so Diversified for your immediate family or for a party. It can be used as a side dish or a main meal or even a topping for tortillas.

Ingredients
2 lbs. - Shrimp, with or without a head,
deveined or not.
4 to 6 cloves - Crushed garlic
1 sm. - Onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup - White wine or beer
1 tbsp. - Hot pepper, sliced
1 Tbsp. - Tomato paste
1 tsp. - Piri Piri hot sauce

Tips:
- Do not overcook the shrimp, if you do, it will be hard and chewy.
- Sauce can be strained or leave it as it is.
- Leave the heads on during the cooking to give flavor to the sauce.
- If you want, remove the heads after you are finished cooking.
This has to be one of my most favorite recipes for lunch at my office. It heats up really fast in the microwave and in seconds I have the perfect meal. I have to say that I do not like to buy lunch for I tend to go to the fattier foods and that causes a problem for me. So I would rather make my meal myself.
