2 - Red or green bell peppers

1/2 to 1 Tsp. - Cayenne pepper
2 Tsp. - Prepared mustard

Eat as much of any fruit you want EXCEPT BANANAS and AVOCATOES.
Eat only soup and fruit today but eat all you want.

All Veggies.

Eat all the soup you want and have a large baked potato with butter at dinner time.

Eat all you want whenever you want and have soup as often as you can.
The soup is the key -- Remember, the more you EAT THE SOUP, the better it will work on losing the weight. *********************************************************************************************************
Start with fresh vegetables, homegrown or farmers local crops are the best. I know it depends on the season, but if you look for it, you will find them.
As for your tomato sauce, homemade is the best but if you do not have any, then you can use Fresh tomato juice (low-sodium). See my recipe here for " Homemade Tomato Sauce ".
Cut all the veggies as small as possible, because in the way, your body will digest it better and it will have a better effect on losing your weight.
The pot size depends on you and how much of the soup are you going to make. As for me, it was 2 1/2 pots of this size pot. I just put the whole pot into the fridge and that keeps it well, as I use it up.
Do not forget to add ALL the spices I show in the video because this is where that fat burning comes from. If you are sensitive to spicy foods, then you can cut down on it, but it will not work as good.
The spices increase your metabolism and that burns fat, and that is what you want from this soup.
On the boiling point of the soup, please set the time to 30 minutes, but if you are sensitive to fiber, then set it to 40 minutes or more.
For some people, the fiber from veggies will give them stomach problems.
Remember that this is a DIET soup to lose weight, so please DO NOT add any salt to it. There is some salt in the low-sodium stock and some the tomato sauce, which is more than enough for this size of soup and it should not give any bad effect on this soup.
Now in addition to my spices, you can add more, like herbs or even other types of spice, but only in addition to the ones I show you on the video.
It is important to NOT make any changes to this soup for it to work properly. Add more but only after you followed the recipe.

In this recipe, I am using half and half of ground beef and lamb. Now if you are not fond of lamb, then you can use just all beef. Now I did buy the meat whole and minced it myself to get it just perfect.
Any combination that you use with this recipe will always turn out awesome. So go ahead and add whatever makes you happy.
This Feta cheese just grabs all the flavors together and blends in just right. Do not worry that you will have some of the cheese larger or smaller, it all goes well with any amount.

By not browning the meat mixture first, it lets the soup penetrate into the meatballs, and in this way it gives it an awesome taste that you will never forget.

Always start with fresh veggies to make your soup the best it can be. I always try to buy locally and from the farmers around the areas.
The veggies her just blend in perfectly for that awesome taste that you would be looking for in a diet soup.
Nothing better than fresh garlic to help burn off some of the fat or help you maintain your weight. Remember to keep the heat down low in order to not burn off the goodness from the garlic. The word here is "simmer" not fry.

I find by shredding my beets with my food processor really cuts down on time with this procedure. I find that this method really improves the taste by having it cut so thin and find as to dicing it.
Now, of course, you can chop it up really and way that you like, but I find this is the best for this type of soup.
Really, because of the beets being cut so fine and the potatoes being cut smaller, I find that boiling the soup should not be more than 30 to 35 minutes.
If you boil it longer then you could run into very soggy veggies and would change the taste and texture.
Here I added some low-fat sour cream, just to give it a smoother creamy taste. Also, you can add yogurt or really anything you want to it.
If you are the brave type, then add some horseradish to make it become even more of a fat burner. Now only add the horseradish to the soup bowl after it is done cooking.
This soup is just awesome and has a great flavor, not only good for you
but an excellent low-calorie meal that will keep your weight under control. The peas and leeks just go great with the smoothness
of the potatoes; it just gives you that creamy texture without all the cream.

Use all the white and most of the green part of the leek. I find that the tips of the green part of the leek will give out a bitter taste to the soup so I only use about 1/2 of it. Starting from the white bottom part.
In this soup recipe I find that the peas in a can works perfect because the water with the peas gives the soup a more rich flavor. Now if you wish to use frozen or fresh peas will work also in your favour to the soup.
Cook the first stage of the soup until you can stick a fork into the potato without and effort. Also when it is done, please remember to remove the 2 bay leaves.
Make sure that your soup has cooled before you have it blenders. I usually but the pot in the sink with cold water about halfway up the pot for a few minutes.
Now I turn the blender on low for about 30 seconds and then about a minute or two on high to get the soup a creamy texture. Please do not overload the blender, for it is better to blend it in two parts or more as to over fill it.
Go ahead and finish off your soup by making it your way, just add all your favorite spices and herbs. After all its your soup, why not enjoy it, your way.

After-all cabbage does produce a lot of gas and even if it will not hurt you, it could make you feel a bit uncomfortable, cumin helps break down the gas.

Go ahead and add the amount of garlic you want. Here I used about half a bulb, thats about 6 to 8 cloves it just right for me.
Try it with different types of garlic and change the olive oil to give you that variety in your soup.
Make sure that you have the heat settings on a med.-low to or on low for you do not want the garlic to burn, but to just blend into the oil to give it a full rich flavour. Try to not over cook the oil nor the garlic, for it will give you a bitter taste in the soup if you do.
For me, I really like "rye" bread instead of whole wheat because of the texture and the taste. Also, did you know that the rye bread is just as good for you as the whole grain ones. Of course you can use plain white bread if you want, and it will turn out just as good but without the benefits of the other breads.
