Ingredients
3 cups - Cabbage, fine shredded and chopped
2 tbsp. - Olive oil
1 sm. - Onion, diced
1 med. - Carrot, sliced
1 can - Tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1 each - Bay leaf
1 tbsp. - Italian seasoning (homemade see below)
1 tbsp. - Tomato paste
1 cube - Veggie cube (low-sodium)
1 tbsp. - Parsley, fresh, chopped
Pepper - As much as you want.
Salt - Use as little as possible.
Options - Chili pepper, hot chili pepper flakes, cumin
Italian seasoning, homemade
1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano.
1 teaspoon dried marjoram.
1 teaspoon dried thyme.
1/2 teaspoon dried basil.
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary.
